What is "Lizard Farm Country"?
lizard farm country
{lih-zuhrd-farm-cuhn-tree}Â Â noun
1. Refers to a place between places, often percieved as inhospitable or dangerous to subsist off. It can be found almost anywhere from deserts to tundras, or more abstract places, such as the fabric of a society or belief system. It is only conditional on subsistence in a space that gives or is believed to give nothing.
2. An optimal location to farm lizards, usually when there is little else to do.
Mission StatementÂ
Lizard Farm Country exists everywhere. It lives alongside the interstate where tree lines and scenic pullouts end. It lives in the nooks and corners between our hearts and our brains. In the nothing, Lizard Farm Country sees something, and while it's not always pretty, our intent is to shed light on the phenomenon of "lizard farm country" and the lives and experiences that pass through it every day.Â
